FIXED TERM CONTRACT UNTIL 31ST MARCH 2020
SALARY RANGE: UP TO £23,500 PRO RATA DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE PLUS BENEFITS

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Children and Family Support Worker to deliver a targeted family support service to children, young people and their families throughout the London Borough of Lewisham. The service aims to support families and communities to be resilient and effectively address issues they are facing to stop difficulties from escalating
With the skills to engage, motivate and challenge, you will be able to listen and respond sensitively and appropriately to children and parents, working with them in a solution-focussed way to build on the existing family strengths to achieve positive change.
With a background in social work, youth work or any other related area and an understanding of the challenges faced by children, young people and families, it is essential that you have at least 2 years’ experience of working with children and families as well as a sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
