Leaving Care Solutions (part of the Core Assets Group) are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Accommodation Co-ordinator to join their support team in Bromsgrove. We provide young people with accommodation/housing, as well as support them to move towards independent living and educational achievements.

You may be an experienced Accommodation Co-ordinator or have experience in a similar role, as long as you have excellent organisational skills, confident in supporting a team and have a passion for making a positive difference in children and young people then this is the ideal role for you.

What the role involves:

- The administration of sourcing and acquisitions of new properties in response to business need and to promote continuous growth

- Ensuring the timely completion of  dilapidations, repairs, general maintenance and property returns

- Management of all running and service charges

- Administration and monitoring of utilities bills for all properties

- Review and negotiate draft leases ensuring they are fit for purpose.

- Assist in the development of appropriate property procedures, alongside the Health & Safety Co-ordinator

You will need to have:

- Recent experience in an Accommodation Co-ordinator role (or similar)

- Excellent working knowledge and understanding of legislation around; supported housing and accommodation health and safety

- Excellent computer literacy, including: word processing, spreadsheets, email and report production.

- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels

- Strong influencing and negotiation skills

- Full driving licence
