Foster Care Associates are recruiting an Administrator to join the team in Liverpool to provide a comprehensive and flexible administrative support service to enable the business to function effectively in line with Foster Care Associates (FCA) Vision and Values.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

- Undertake a wide range of administrative tasks and duties using keyboard, office and I.T skills as defined by your Line Manager using company standard font and corporate template documentation

- Answer telephone calls in a professional manner ensuring all messages are passed on promptly

- Manage incoming mail, allocating as appropriate and frank/prepare and post outgoing Mail

- Greet visitors in an efficient, welcoming and friendly manner ensuring that health and safety is observed at all times – all visitors to the office must be requested to sign in / out of the building

- Ensure all administrative tasks are undertaken in line with Quality Assurance and HR operational standards, policy and practice.

- Archive files and other documentation in accordance with current contractual and operational requirements

- Take minutes/action points at meetings where required/directed

- Ensure all sensitive documentation is disposed of using the paper recycling consoles provided in all offices

- Manage office stationery orders to ensure an adequate supply of office materials and consumables in line with current contractual guidelines as directed by the Office Manager

- Liaise with the Office Manager to resolve any identified/necessary repairs/replacements to equipment, furniture with the office or building structure.

- Maintain an up to date electronic calendar.

- Be responsible for the office’s petty cash and invoicing

- Assist in arranging and organising a variety of Children’s activities

- Input data, upload documentation and manage use of information using a variety of in-house bespoke business systems. Ensuring data inputted and retained is accurate and up to date.

 ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

- Previous experience working within an office setting

- A suitable qualification in Administration or computing e.g. NVQ2 in Business Administration/ similar or European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)

- Experience of Microsoft Office Applications; Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels

- Ability to work flexibly against changing priorities and demands

This is a full time, permanent role with a salary up to £18,000 + benefits.
